How this site works

Apartment Musician is for people who play in small rooms: quiet electronic drums, double pedals and cases that roll. Store descriptions and forum threads rarely say what's missing, so the guides here do.

Checking

Manufacturer pages and store listings are read and their numbers set side by side. A number goes on a page only when two separate pages agree on it. When they don't, the page says so and the number stays out.

Not tested

None of the gear has been played for this site, and every guide says so. How a pedal feels or how loud a kit sounds through a floor is a question for someone who has played it.

Money

No store pays this site. Links to zZounds, Sweetwater and the makers are plain links.
